Description of Event

In conjunction with Heartland Mobility and Age Concern South Canterbury, we are holding a free mobility scooter course. 

This workshop is suitable for current mobility scooter users, friends, whanau and caregivers and those who may be considering purchasing a mobility scooter. The mobility scooter course covers the following:
*How to maintain your scooter
*Battery maintenance
*Safety on your scooter
*Safety apparel
*Road rules
*And much more

There will be an opportunity to learn and practice basic manoeuvring in a safe environment and build confidence. Morning tea is also provided.

There will also be an opportunity for participants to provide feedback on footpaths and crossing points.
